Rigidized Steel Toilet Partitions   Stainless Steel Rigidized Partitions

Construction:

Doors, panels, and pilasters shall be constructed of two sheets of type 304, #4 rigidized stainless steel with 5WL® pattern. Grain to run lengthwise (vertical) for all doors, pilasters, standard panels deeper than 60" will require horizontal grain pattern. The two rigidized sheets are laminated under pressure to a "Verti-cel" (˝") honeycomb core for impact resistance, rigidity and sound deadening. Formed edges to be welded together and interlocked, under tension, with a roll-formed oval crown stainless steel locking bar, mitred, welded and ground smooth at the corners. Honeycomb to be of virgin, long fiber paper with a maximum 12.5mm (˝") cell size and a minimum compressive strength of 90 pounds per square inch.

Doors and Panels:

Shall be 25mm (1") thick with cover sheets not less than 22ga. (0.8mm).

Hardware and Fittings:

All panel and pilaster brackets and all door hardware shall be chrome plated zinc die castings. Doors shall be equipped with a gravity type hinge mounted on the lower pilaster hinge bracket.

Standard Steel Partitions:

Doors, Panels and Pilasters shall be constructed of two sheets of panel flatness zinc-coated steel, Galvanneal ASTM A653 GR33, laminated under pressure to a honeycomb core for sound deadening and rigidity. Formed edges to be welded together and inter-locked under tension with a roll-formed oval crown locking bar, mitred, welded and ground smooth at the corners. Honeycomb to have a maximum 25mm (1") cell size with compressive strength of 31 pounds per square inch.
