TEXTURED STEEL LOCKERS

Materials

All locker parts shall be made of mild cold rolled sheet steel and coated with a hybrid epoxy polyester powder finish.

Doors c/w Continuous Hinge

Doors shall be of a double-pan design consisting of a 20 gauge outer panel welded to a 24 gauge inner panel to form a rigid box construction. A full-length 18 gauge continuous piano hinge shall be securely welded to the frame and fastened to the door with screws or rivets. A structural and sound deadening 1" cell honeycomb core is bonded to the inner surfaces. Doors are hinged on the right and swing from left to right.  Hinge shall maximize security and enhance resistance to abuse and vandalism.

Bench Pedestal

Benches are available in 3', 4', 5', 6', 7', 8', 10', and 12' lengths. fabricated from solid hardwood, urethane coated (1 1/4" x 9 1/2" x length) with all corners rounded and sanded. Optional "laminated" hardwood benches available. Pedestals shall be 1/4" x 3" aluminum bar, 12 1/2" at widest point. Pedestals shall be supplied with floor anchors, or rubber leveling glides, to be stationary or moveable (non-stationary). Benches up to 8' long shall have two pedestals, 8' and up shall have three pedestals. Overall height of bench assembly is 16 1/2".

Finish:

All steel parts and aluminum pedestals shall be phosphatised, and finished with a high performance epoxy powder coating, baked on to provide a uniform, smooth, protective finish. Colours shall be selected from our manufacturer's standard line of decorator colours, including textured colours. Textured finish will increase scratch and graffiti resistance. Locker frames to be standard as Black #510. All interior body parts are finished in standard Light Grey #535. Special colours, including special powder-coating textures are available and priced on request.

Athletic lockers are ideal for users requiring extra strength and ventilation.
