Hufcor offers three types of full height partitions: Operable, Accordion and Portable. A fourth partition is Roommate™, a mobile system. Each type can be used in any facility and each meets various sound control and division requirements.



Also described as air walls, movable walls or flat panels, operable partitions are a series of interlocking panels suspended from an overhead track system. When in place, the panels are similar in appearance to a permanent wall. A selection of face coverings are available to match or coordinate with the room decor. Accessories such as chalk and tack boards and pass doors provide versatility.

Hufcor offers three "families" or brands of operable partitions: Classic, Spectrum and Pathfinder. Each family of panels is sound rated and has varying characteristics that meet functional, budget and design requirements. Each family is available in paired, individual (omni-directional) and continuously hinged (train) configurations. These lightweight panels are self-contained and do not require track. An expanding top member nests into special clips attached to the ceiling. Each panel is placed in position to create a wall, to form rooms, or they can be used individually as display panels. Portable panels are an economical solution for space separation where medium to low sound control requirements are needed. Many portables are being used to separate smoking and non-smoking areas.

Roommate™ is Hufcor’s new mobile partition and the only model that is not designed for floor to ceiling space division. Roommate is a self-contained partition system that rolls into position on wheels. It is designed for inexpensive sight division. The panels are hinged together and are manually unfolded and formed into straight lines or curves. It folds into a compact unit to be rolled to another location or storage area. Roommate is perfect for schools, day care centers, religious buildings or hotels.



Unispan™ is a self-supported operable partition system perfect for buildings with inadequate overhead structural support. Unispan is a structural frame and operable partition system all in one. Hufcor paired, manual trains or accordion partitions can be installed on the Unispan system.
