Edwards Door Systems introduces a new low-energy automatic door operator that turns manual doors into automatic doors. The EDS-SL8650 is a compact, electro-mechanical, low-energy swing door operator. The opening speeds and forces of the EDS-SL8650 are designed to meet the needs of the physically challenged. It is field-adjustable to comply with existing laws and codes without additional external safety devices.
The EDS-SL8650 series works with metal, wood, or glass doors, and works in both in-swing and out-swing applications. The operator can be activated by a push button, external motion sensors, toggle or key switches and 2 or 4 button transmitters.

● Can be installed on most interior doors, including wood and metal doors to a maximum of 90lbs.

● Auto-learn travel limits included with three different operating modes.

● Timer operation - Door can close automatically at pre-set time as programmed by user.

● "Hit" and "Stop" features ensures safe operation at all times.

● Audio warning sounds to indicate when closer is operating.

● Built-in mechanical clutch to prevent motor damage if external force is applied to door and operator.

● "Fail-Safe" operation - Door can be opened/closed manually during power failure.
