The TCS-100 panel should be mounted in a location that is close the entry door, indoors or on the exterior of the building. The TIP and RNG terminals will connect to the Tip and Ring Telco lines. The TCS-100 offers three options for controlling your door locks; a buzzing AC output, a silent DC output or a mag-lock using an external transformer. An auxiliary form "C" relay is provided for gate control or a secondary entrance door. An optional Postal Lock switch is available for access by mail carriers, maintenance personnel or as required by municipalities to allow fire departments or other emergency response units instant access to the premises, without the need to contact an occupant. The TCS-100 is easily programmed and updated through the main panel, a PC compatible keyboard, or remotely through a personal computer equipped with the downloading software. Updating an occupants directory has never been easier! TCS-6000

The TCS-6000 Series Model of Telephone Access system provides intercommunication access control and security for multi-unit buildings. The system uses the existing phone lines within the building to provide security, access control and communication. A dedicated line from the phone company is not required. When visitors call occupants of the building from the entry panel, a distinguishable ring pattern on the occupant’s telephone will identify that the call is originating from the security entry panel. A durable stainless steel entry panel houses a directory, vandal-resistant keypad, back-lit 32-character alphanumeric display, postal lock switch, speaker and sensitive microphone. The full front panel illumination enables the entry panel to be used in areas where no ambient light is provided. A key lock, hinge front panel restricts access to authorized personnel. The entry panel is surface mounted.

| |
|
The system shall use regular telephone sets to provide inter-communication and
access control to the building. Visitors calling occupants of the building from
the entry panel shall be distinguished from regular callers from the outside. A
distinguishable ring pattern on the occupant’s phone shall identify the call
is originating from the security entry panel.
A built-in "call waiting" feature shall be provided on the system to notify occupants of any incoming call. While engaged in a conversation, the occupant will be notified of a visitor call by a clear audio tone. By clicking the hook switch or pressing the "3" button on a DTMF phone set, the occupant shall be transferred to the visitor while placing the original caller on hold. The occupant shall permit access to the building by dialing "9". The system shall automatically return the occupant to the previous caller after the door release has been activated. If the occupant denies entry to the building, they shall click the hook switch or press the "3" button again to return to the original conversation. The system shall be compatible to all telephone handsets, which are FCC and IC approved. The system shall meet all the requirements of the federal communication standards for telephone interface equipment. The system shall be able to accommodate up the 10 entrance panels. No more than four wires to each entry panel are required. | |
