The HTR-1A is automatically positioned by the dock attendant through use of an interior control panel selector switch. Hydraulic power raises and lowers the restraint for smooth, consistent action. An infra-red photo eye and audible alarm automatically alert personnel of positive contact. The MTR-1A mechanical restraint models are easily activated by dock personnel through use of the control handle from dock level. A gas spring raises the restraint to activation and a latching mechanism holds the restraint in stored position. These models can be equipped with the communication light system. The ATG-3000 Safety Barrier Leveler features all the automatic hydraulic operation and structural integrity found on McGuire’s high strength hydraulic levelers with the addition of an impressive 8” high x 5/8” thick steel barrier that is hydraulically powered into place as the leveler automatically returns to the stored position. No other leveler can match the formidable barrier against disaster like the ATG-3000.
