ARMORTEX® BULLET RESISTANT
WOOD DOORS
Bullet Resistant Non-Ricochet Wood Door and Non-Ricochet Frame assemblies
are complete and pre-hung with a Roton Heavy Duty continuous hinge and are
available in all protection levels. Required hardware preparation is completed
prior to shipping. All glazing configurations and types are available, as well
as custom door sizes and pairs. The frames are fabricated from 16 ga. steel,
fully welded, prime painted and mortised and reinforced for required hardware.
(Split frames optional) Frames are of the same protection level as the door and
all are custom sized for specific wall thicknesses.
The doors are solid core with Armortex® UL Listed Bullet
Resistant Fiberglass providing the protective barrier. Unfinished face veneers
come standard in red oak or birch and are available in all all custom veneers
and plastic laminates.
ARMORTEX® BULLET RESISTANT HOLLOW METAL DOORS
Bullet Resistant Non-Ricochet Hollow Metal Door and Non-Ricochet Frame
assemblies are complete and pre-hung with a Roton Heavy Duty continuous hinge
and are available in all protection levels. Required hardware preparation is
completed prior to shipping. All glazing configurations and types are available
as well as custom door sizes and pairs. The frames are fabricated from 16 ga.
steel, fully welded, prime painted, mortised and reinforced for required
hardware. (Split frames optional.) Frames are of the same protection level as
the door and all are custom sized for specific wall thicknesses.
The doors have prime painted 16 ga. steel face plates, 16 ga. steel top and
bottom flush closures and 16 ga. channel stiles. The core consists of Armortex®
UL Listed Bullet Resistant Fiberglass and foamed in place rigid urethane.
ARMORTEX® METAL PACKAGE RECEIVERS
Armortex® Bullet Resistant Metal Package Receivers
are utilized as a package pass between a secure and non-secure area. The body is
constructed of 12 ga. primed steel with Armortex® Bullet
Resistant Fiberglass in the doors, thereby offering the specified level of
protection. Interlocking door mechanism, automatic door closer, stainless steel
exterior door, door lock and installation flanges are standard features, with an
optional drip cap for exterior installations. Standard sizes are 18" x
18" x 18" and 24" x 24" x 18".
ARMORTEX® TRANSPARENT PACKAGE RECEIVERS
Armortex® Bullet Resistant Package Receivers offer
complete visibility of all transactions and are available in protection levels 1
and 3. Features include interlocking doors which prevents the simultaneous
opening of both, automatic door closer on the exterior door, and an optional
security latch to prevent the forced entry through the inside door during
"non use" periods. Custom sizes up to 24" x 24" x 18".
ARMORTEX® SPEAKERS
Armortex® Speakers are available in detention or
Bullet Resistant designs up to level 4, and are designed to accommodate any
glazing thickness with a mounting hole of 4" to 6" in diameter.
Detention units employ an anti-contraband device and all come with a brushed
stainless steel finish.
ARMORTEX® DIP TRAYS
Armortex® Dip Trays are manufactured using 16 ga.
stainless steel with a brushed finish, available in 2 designs, RMDT-recessed
mounted and SMDT-surface mounted. Custom sizes and types are available.
ARMORTEX® STEEL FIXED WINDOWS
Safeguard manufactures this non-ricochet unit in 16 ga. prime painted hollow
metal or optional stainless steel. It is available in all protection levels,
glazing types and sizes and is designed for interior or exterior wall
applications. Ganged frames can be used for storefront applications or complete
interior wall sections. This unit is available with a split frame and a
"natural voice" design.
ARMORTEX® ALUMINUM TRANSACTION AND FIXED
WINDOWS
This clear anodized extruded frame is manufactured for all glazing types up
to 2-1/2" thick, levels 1through 4. A clamp frame for wall thicknesses
between 4-1/4" and 8" or in fixed jamb depths of 5" or 6".
All frames are lined with our UL Listed Bullet Resistant Fiberglass at the
required protection level. Available in all sizes, single and multiple lights
for interior applications.
ARMORTEX® BULLET RESISTANT TRANSACTION DRAWERS
MODEL SS4D, SS10D, AND SS10D-D
Armortex® Bullet Resistant Transaction drawers are
fabricated from stainless steel to provide long life and trouble free operation.
The drawers are designed with a bullet resistant panel in position to protect
the operator when the unit is open or closed. The transaction drawers are
manufactured with UL Listed Bullet Resistant Fiberglass, designed to provide
protection against level 1 through 4 weapons.
A removable plastic money tray is furnished with the SS4D and SS10D units. The
SS10D-D comes without the money tray to provide greater capacity and is ideal
for detention applications. The drawers are simple to install and attach to a
conventional counter top.
MODEL 6003
The Armortex® Model 6003 is specifically designed to
accommodate a window frame immediately above. This unit has a brushed stainless
steel top and front and is available with an optional electronic speaker system.
The large capacity bin offers you 1,300 cubic inches of usable space with a
sliding dip tray that can be used alternately.
ARMORTEX® BULLET RESISTANT AND DETENTION
GLAZING
Armortex® Bullet Resistant and Detention Glazing is
available in several configurations. High performance, multi-ply polycarbonate
laminates are offered where both a lightweight and an attack resistant barrier
is required. They are offered as bullet resistant products or containment/forced
entry barriers. Economical glass products meet all bullet resistant test
requirements set forth by Underwriters Laboratory. Composite glass/polycarbonate
and polycarbonate laminates are also utilized in air gap or glass clad
configurations for ballistic or containment protection. These systems offer the
scratch resistant characteristic of glass and the lightweight penetration
resistance of plastic. See chart on this screen for selection of available

SAFEGUARD SECURITY LIMITED WARRANTY
Safeguard Security warrants its Armortex® products
for a period of twelve months (1 year) from date of shipment against defects in
workmanship.
Safeguard Security products are designed for installation by persons having
requisite skill and knowledge and at their own discretion and risk. Liability
under this warranty is limited to either replacement of product, excluding cost
of freight and installation, or at Safeguard Security's option to refund
Safeguard Security's invoice price.
Inasmuch as Safeguard Security has no control over the use to which others may
put any material or product, it does not guarantee that the same results as
those described herein will be obtained. Each user of the material or designer
or both should make their own tests to determine the suitability of the material
for their own particular uses.
